ATLAS is born, as space for reflection, debate, and encounter around Spanish painting. A plural and open platform that aims to promote dialogue between painters, critics, and the public.
ATLAS seeks to map the different perspectives or sensibilities present in the national scene. An exhibition journey through numerous chapters with a foundational principle: to focus on the pictorial work being produced currently in Spain, encourage intergenerational dialogue, and contextualize the work of our artists.
This project stems from the result of long conversations between friends and fellow painters, which we now wish to bring into the physical space, with their work representing them and inviting reflection on painting.
